Come find your dream at the Creative House. We at Terra Verde have aspired to create the best possible environment for creative endeavors and experiments of all artistic disciplines. Each of our members have their own focus and we believe everyone should have creative freedom to pursue what they choose. Though personal projects are our focus, collaboration is important to us. Living in Appalachia has presented a different environment for us to shine a light on through our art and we hope to bring more interest and awareness to the area.
The Avenue and Terra Verde have always been a team effort, but Max has always had the creative vision. Stemming from a YouTube channel and other creative endeavors when he was younger, Max helped form The Avenue as one of the founding members. With The Avenue, Max focused much of his efforts on clothing design, but with Terra Verde he has taken a more overhead role.
Starting his music career in late 2016 with a CD only mixtape made in a night with Jackson and Grant, Max has been working toward furthering his skills as a producer and artist since then. Over years Max has explored all sounds and sub-genres of hip hop, but has been branching out toward electronic and house music as of late.
During the run of The Avenue, Noah mainly took on our magazine. It was always apparent that Noah wanted to venture into film as well though and in summer 2022, Noah created IN CONCLUSION: The Avenue Documentary to document how The Avenue rose and ultimately ended.
Since the documentary project, Noah has developed several videos for different members of Terra Verde. This includes all visualizers from the Terra Verde album, Nate's trailer, the interview, and more. In the future Noah hopes to continue further into film.
Since a young age, Jackson had always leaned into art and the more visual aspects of creation. Jackson mainly focuses on drawing and painting personally, but has also begun to explore digital art throughout the past few years.
As someone who has always made art just for myself, making art for others is a new challenge and often a great experience. When I'm trying to captivate someone else's vision through my own skillset and ideas, I have to accept more direction and input from the client. Working on art for Max, Nate, and Eli has been great and I enjoy capturing their vision in my own way.
Eli has been working on beat making for years now, and there's no slowing down for him. In 2020, Eli released his first and only album aside from the Terra Verde album this past October. Chef E's Jazz Cuts was released in summer 2020 and Eli had a large jazz and sample influence coming in on the album. Lately, Eli has been exploring more new sounds and is looking to release new music soon.
When we were developing a plan for transitioning from The Avenue to Terra Verde, one of Eli's biggest ideas was to create a TikTok account for each of the members to post what they're working on.
Nate has a work ethic unlike anyone else. Nate musical background consists of old soul and R&B records, leading to him pursuing work as an artist and music producer eventually. His music has been primarily based in hip hop production and beat making up until now, but he has been experimenting with new sounds recently.
We have always wanted to grow our artistic output and platform, so brining on new members was an important item to consider. Nate brought on two drastically different musical artists with the Terra Verde rebrand. They are Mister Quasar and Manny Kefalos, who we are excited to hear more from in the coming year.
Grant has been an artist forever. His worked as a painter really took off through his work in high school, but he was never opposed to experimenting with other mediums. Oil paintings have been and still are a prominent form of expression.
Grant hadn't worked on any of the clothing items produced by The Avenue, but through his artistic experiments, as well as some fashion experiments, Grant has taken on the lead of fashion. Grant's ideas come from many different places, and we are excited to debut clothing lines within the next year.
